Our Story
Great Spaces, Inc. was built on a simple idea: the best vacations happen in the places where people actually live the adventure — not the places built to sell it back to you.
We’re an independently owned vacation rental company headquartered in Winter Garden, Florida, with properties in two of America’s most under-appreciated getaway regions. To the north, New York’s Adirondack foothills and the 1000 Islands. To the south, Florida’s Retro Atlantic coast and the Clermont Chain of Lakes. Different climates. Same philosophy.
What Makes Our Spaces Great
We’re Always Connected — So Disconnecting Matters
Phones ping. Inboxes fill. Feeds scroll whether you’re looking or not. The reason we built Great Spaces is that the opposite of all that — real water, real trails, real fires, real sunsets — has gotten harder to find. Our properties are curated for people who want to turn off the noise and remember what a quiet morning feels like.
Recharge. Restore. Remember. Repeat.
That’s the promise. And because we believe the best vacations become traditions, our repeat guests receive value pricing, priority booking windows, and insider rates on excursions through our local adventure partners. We’d rather earn a family for ten years than a transaction for one week.
Value Relaxation, No Middleman
We are not a listing site. We don’t charge service fees on top of cleaning fees on top of booking fees. We own the relationship with every guest and every property, which means when you call 407-758-4431, a person answers — and that person can actually help.
Three Brands, One Mission
Home base: Watertown, NY. Our North Country properties put you within minutes of Class IV whitewater on the Black River, charter fishing on Lake Ontario, and some of the most beautiful wilderness in the eastern United States. The North Country is, quite literally, the birthplace of the American vacation — it’s where 19th-century New Yorkers first invented the idea of summering. We think it still holds up.
Home base: Flagler Beach & Minneola, FL. Our southern properties give you two very different Floridas. Flagler Beach is barefoot, salty, and gloriously un-commercialized — think Old Florida before the high-rises. Minneola and the Clermont Chain of Lakes are a secret even most Floridians don’t know about: oak hammocks, spring-fed lakes, rolling hills, and a straight shot to Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld when the grandkids visit.
Chain of Lakes — Minneola & Clermont, FL
Home base: Minneola & Clermont, FL. The Florida most Floridians don’t know about. Rolling hills, spring-fed lakes, world-class cycling, waterfront dining, and easy access to every major Orlando theme park — then a quiet return to oak hammocks and lakeside living. Base camp for snowbirds, families, and anyone who thought Florida was flat.
Meet the People Behind the Properties
Our team are hosts, fishermen, surfers, hikers, and locals who vacation in our own properties when they’re not booked.
